Flexiboard is a keyboard on which you can design your own keys. The "keys" are actually pictures on a paper overlay. When pressing a picture on Flexiboard that what you have decided should happen, will happen, e.g. a symbol is shown on the screen.

It is easy to switch between different overlays as Flexiboard automatically "detects" which overlay is used. This makes it possible for the user to change overlays without assistance. The overlays can contain symbols, letters and figures.

This means that a person who can not read or write has increased access to the computer according to personal skills.

The acceptance delay and repetition rate of each overlay is adjustable to accomodate different types of functional disabilities. The keyboard can be divided into 128 squares or less.

FlexiWord FlexiWord is an adapted word processing program which makes it possible to write with pictures, symbols and letters. Syntetic and recorded speech can be used, which makes it possible to use FlexiWord for communication. In FlexiWord it is easy to save, open and print documents. FlexiWord can be set in many ways to meet the users needs, e.g. picture size, background colour and visable buttons on the screen.

Additional software
FlexiView FlexiView is a slideshow program, showing one picture at a time. Syntetic or recorded speech can be used. It is also possible to show letters, word and sentences as well as play video sequences and music. FlexiView can be used for cause and effect exercises and multislide presentations. It can also be used for communication. FlexiView can be set in many different ways to meet the users needs, e.g. picture size, background colour and visible buttons on the screen.

FlexiFind There is a great need for pedagogical and fun games for persons with learning disabilities. The idea of FlexiFind is to guess which picture is shown on the screen. The picture is completly covered when you start. By a mouse or arrow keys you then move a small square so that one small part of the picture is shown at a time. To make the programme extra funny you can choose which OK message or error message will be shown. FlexiFind can be played by one or two players.
