Gewa DuoCom has been developed to suit people with different disabilities, e.g. physical disabilties, speech impairment and elderly. A hall telephone gives security and makes it easier to have an independant living.

To be able to stay in bed and check that the door is locked, to talk the person who rings on the doorbell and to decide whether to open the door or not makes it possible to have an independant living to a larger extent. DuoCom suits all kind of living.

DuoCom is provided with automatic speech changeover, meaning that the user only has to press the control switch once on an IR transmitter. It makes it possible to talk with the visitor without pressing any key.This simplifies use for those who use scanning to control the transmitter.

To unlock the door you activate the transmitter once more.For people who cannot speak it is possible to record three different messages. The message is played when the transmitter is acitvated.DuoCom also has built-in IR control in the door unit and the central unit.This means that the user does not have to use the key to open the door from the outside. This can be made by the IR transmitter.

Technical details

Duocom hall telephone consists of a central unit, room unit with speaker, door unit with speaker, power supply 8404, Tradania and one wall jack. Transmitter and striking plate are not included.
